SecBloc (SecBloc.com) stands for security bloc. It is a soon to be a social networking web site designed completely for security enthusiasts. SecBloc major goal is to be the place for security expert to publish their research, formulate hypothesis and voice their options.
SecBloc will also be producing a print magazine for both online and offline readers. SecBloc will pay writers who contribute to the zine by way of the site.
Why is this Cool?
As researches we often find times when we wished we had a network of other intelligent minds to think tank with, and ask for assistance from. With a social networking site like SecBloc we can search through article and members covering a vast many topics. Also all those other sappy reasons social network sites are cool.
How Do Users Get Money?
Its genius and simple. You write article on security subjects you are familiar with. Readers can nominate your writing for publication. If your work is chosen you are paid to elaborate and expand on your article for the magazine. Also there is a for heir link on the pages of members who want it. This can be for either freelance or long term employment.
